Materials Engineer

We currently have exciting opportunities within the Materials Applications team for talented and enthusiastic Materials Engineers in the Defence Aerospace Sector in Bristol.

• Provide technical and expert materials advice across the Defence Bristol programmes
• Support design of test programmes and analysis of test programme data
• Investigate engineering development, production manufacturing and in‑service issues using a structured analytical approach and present findings clearly and authoritatively
• Participate in continuous improvement projects

• Qualification in Materials Science or Engineering or significant relevant experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to build good working relationships across the business
• Experience in a highly regulated industry
• Strong analytical skills
