Job Overview
Here at MBDA our Land Ceptor Systems Engineering team is growing to help the British and Polish Armies fulfil the full potential of the system and to extend and tailor the capability for existing and emerging export contracts.
Salary:
Up to £57,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification.
Security clearance:
British citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. After offer all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
We are seeking a highly motivated Verification & Validation (V&V) and Certification Engineer to support the development and certification of Land Ceptor Weapon System for UK and Poland programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of the certification team to capture and review evidence, conduct technical investigations and support delivery of Certificate of Designs to enable customer deliveries.
- Review technical documentation in support of functional evidence.
- Review and agree Design Verification Plans (DVP).
- Perform design reconciliation activities associated with design change and obsolescence.
- Work within a multi-discipline engineering team (e.g. Systems, mechanical, electrical, software).
- Identify verification gaps, track issues, and support corrective actions.
- Support certification activities by preparing and reviewing compliance documentation, verification reports, and evidence.
- Drive process improvement through efficient ways of working and automation.
- Experience with IBM Rational DOORS Classic.
- Proven ability to analyse evidence and assess compliance against requirements.
- Knowledge of Verification & Validation (V&V) processes and methodologies.
- Experience preparing compliance documentation and certification evidence.
