An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to join a leading high-tech manufacturing and engineering organisation. This role offers the chance to take ownership of a complex technical site, including clean rooms, laboratories, manufacturing spaces, and critical infrastructure, while leading both internal teams and specialist service partners.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational reliability, compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across the site. Working within a collaborative and welcoming environment, you will have the opportunity to drive long-term improvements while supporting business growth and innovation.
Responsibilities- Proven facilities management experience within a technical or highly regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of critical building services and infrastructure
- Experience managing clean rooms or controlled environments
- Demonstrated success managing contractors, suppliers, and service providers
- Sound understanding of UK health, safety, and compliance legislation
- Experience leading, developing, and motivating teams
- Knowledge of maintenance planning, asset management, and lifecycle strategies
- Understanding of sustainability and energy management practices
- Engineering, Facilities Management, or related qualifications are advantageous
- Professional membership (IWFM, CIBSE, or similar) would be beneficial
