An established ground engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an Engineering Geologist to join their growing team in Bristol. This is a varied role suited to an Engineering Geologist with experience across ground investigation and geotechnical projects who is looking to develop their technical and project management skills.

The role will involve a good balance of site and office-based work, supporting projects from initial investigation through to reporting and interpretation.

The Role:

• Planning and undertaking ground investigations, including site supervision and contractor management
• Logging soil and rock in accordance with relevant standards
• Groundwater monitoring and sampling
• Reviewing and interpreting factual ground investigation data
• Producing interpretative and factual ground investigation reports
• Geotechnical risk assessment and ground model development
• Supporting geotechnical design and engineering assessments
• Specification and supervision of intrusive investigations
• Liaising with clients, contractors and other engineering disciplines
• Working across a range of residential, commercial, infrastructure and development projects
