Junior / Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services)

40 to GBP
50 per hour depending on your experience. Right to Work in the UK Required

You will be joining a team that values technical development, teamwork, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions. This is the ideal role for someone who has built a solid foundation in Electrical Building Services Design and is looking to expand their experience across all stages of project delivery. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior engineers, contribute to live projects from concept through to completion, and develop the skills needed to progress your career.

• Assisting with the design and delivery of Electrical Building Services projects
• Producing engineering calculations, specifications, and technical documentation
• Supporting the development of lighting, power, and associated electrical building services designs
• Working alongside mechanical engineers, architects, and other design professionals
• Contributing to project meetings and coordination activities
• Assisting with site visits and surveys where required
• Supporting project delivery from concept design through to construction stages
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within project deadlines

• A few years of experience within Electrical Building Services Design
• A good understanding of building services engineering principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment
• A proactive and professional approach to project delivery

To be successful, you’ll be based in or within a commutable distance of Bristol and able to work closely with the project team as required.
