A new position as a PCB Layout Engineer is now available at an innovative company specialising in high-quality PCB design and development. Based in Bristol, this company works across a variety of industries, delivering cutting-edge computer vision solutions that meet both technical and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimise multi-layer PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro PCB Designer.
- Interpret and implement schematics, mechanical outlines, and design constraints.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards (e.g., IPC standards) and customer-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, production, and quality assurance teams.
- Troubleshoot layout-related issues during prototype and production stages.
- Proven experience in PCB layout design, including high-speed, RF, or mixed-signal circuits.
- Proficiency in Cadence Allegro PCB Designer (Altium or others not accepted)
- Strong understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC-2221 and IPC-7351.
- Familiarity with signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal considerations.
