We are recruiting for an experienced Systems Engineer to join a highly collaborative engineering team, working on sophisticated mission planning and control systems for major UK and international programmes.

You will work closely with engineering specialists in the UK and France, alongside major industry partners and government organisations. There is also potential for international travel and exposure to wider engineering programmes.

What you will be doing
  • Working across the full systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements capture through to design, verification and certification.
  • Developing and managing technical requirements, ensuring they are correctly defined and controlled.
  • Collaborating with international engineering teams and technical specialists.
  • Producing technical documentation for internal stakeholders and end users.
  • Supporting technical problem-solving and contributing to the delivery of complex engineering solutions.
  • Working with external partners and stakeholders across multiple engineering disciplines.
What we are looking for
  • Recent experience in a Systems Engineering role.
  • A good understanding of systems engineering processes and lifecycle activities.
  • Experience using requirements management tools such as DOORS.
  • Knowledge of configuration management.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • An engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • An understanding of mission planning principles would be advantageous.
  • Ready for your next engineering challenge?

If you have a background in Systems Engineering and want to work on technically challenging, internationally focused programmes, we would like to hear from you.

You will also benefit from:
  • Company bonus of up to £2,500, based on company performance
  • Pension with total employer and employee contributions of up to 14%
  • Paid overtime opportunities
  • Up to 15 additional days of Flexi Leave
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Enhanced parental leave, including maternity, adoption and shared parental leave
  • Excellent site facilities, including subsidised meals and free car parking
  • Opportunities to gain professional and accredited project management qualifications

You will need to obtain UK Security Clearance for this role. This will require you to be a full UK Citizen or dual national with British Citizenship. Some restrictions may apply.
