Does this sound like the place for you?
Job SummaryAs a Crew Member, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone who joins us! You’ll kick things off with a friendly and thorough briefing, keep an eye on the activity areas, perform maintenance checks, and help manage the timing of sessions to ensure everything runs smoothly.
It’s important that you have a positive and consistent approach to customer safety. By enforcing the rules and encouraging everyone to play safely, you can help everyone have a blast. To do this effectively, you’ll want to be well-versed in our Freedog policies and procedures. This includes understanding waivers, knowing the activity rules, emphasising the importance of safety gear (like socks and wristbands), and mastering customer service.
While your main focus will be monitoring the courts, you’ll also get the chance to step into the role of a party coordinator. This will only enhance your court monitoring duties! As a party coordinator, you’ll lead safety briefings, check that waiver forms are filled out, practice safe food handling, and become familiar with allergen awareness. Good time management is key in this role.
You’ll also receive training in basic trampoline maintenance tasks, such as changing springs and trampoline beds, and replacing bungee ties. It’s essential to complete inspection reports and communicate any maintenance needs to the management team.
During your shift, communication is key! You’ll be working with all departments to ensure sessions and parties are safe and enjoyable. Sometimes, you’ll need to relay important concerns to the Duty Manager, but don’t worry; we’re all here to support each other.
Lastly, customer service is a huge part of your role. Engaging with our customers and helping them understand the rules is a great way to build a positive connection with them.
If the need arises, you might be asked to assist with other maintenance tasks, like emptying foam pits or replacing trampoline beds. The Operations Manager (or Senior Management) will coordinate these extra tasks, which may occasionally happen outside of regular operating hours.
We’re excited to have you on board to help create fun and safe experiences for our guests!
