Associate Director - Strategic Portfolio Manager

We have developed a clear, well‑defined growth strategy through to 2030 to achieve our vision of being the go‑to UK bank for Debt, Cash and Risk. We will invest significantly in technology and people to grow our franchise sustainably, centring on a purpose‑aligned sector focus and delivering seamless digital experiences for our Corporate & Institutional clients.

This role will support the delivery of the 2030 North Star by ensuring a strong link between investment, delivery, benefits and value drivers. We are looking for a self‑motivated, proactive Strategic Portfolio Manager who can help deliver our ambitious strategy aligned to the purpose of Helping Britain Prosper. This is an opportunity to work on a complex programme that will drive significant change across our business.

• Build strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
• Apply strong financial acumen and the ability to join the dots.
• Demonstrate strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to undertake valuable analysis and present findings to senior audiences clearly and concisely.
• Engage with skills from multiple subject areas such as operating model design, digital delivery and portfolio management.
• Exposure to Commercial Banking / CIB products / COO / CIB / AI platforms is preferable, but not essential.
