Finance Manager; Transactional

Initial 9 month contract Are you an experienced finance professional with a background in legal finance? If so, we're recruiting for a Transactional Finance Manager to join a leading law firm on an initial 9-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure across all areas of finance operations within a fast-paced, award-winning organisation.

• Approve travel and payment requests while managing weekly team schedules.
• Oversee cashflow management, daily bank reconciliations, and client account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly performance reports, KPIs, and financial control updates.
• Manage debt provisions, credit control reporting, and complex billing queries.
• Provide oversight of E-billing ledgers and revenue control processes.
• Lead and coach the finance operations team, ensuring effective collaboration both in person and remotely.

• Proven experience in legal finance at a management or team leader level.
• Familiarity with SOS (Solicitors Own Software) finance platforms would be advantageous.
• Experience with a law firm, or financial/professional services organisation would be essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and support teams effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• A proactive problem-solver who thrives in an evolving finance environment.
