Job Title: Accountant

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting and management. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work alongside other accounting and finance staff members, and will be in a collaborative environment within the finance department.

Duties

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
  • Utilise accounting software for efficient financial management.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy across the organisation.

    • Experience

  • Proven experience in financial accounting or a related field is essential.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, People Soft, or Quick Books is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
