Financial Controller (Kent)
Up to £80k base + benefits
We’re hiring a Financial Controller to strengthen our finance foundations and help steer the next stage of growth. This is a broad SME role combining hands‑on delivery with commercial insight.
Key responsibilities- Management accounts, month‑end close and KPI reporting
- Cash flow forecasting, working capital and financial planning
- Budgeting/forecasting and variance analysis
- Statutory accounts, audit/tax coordination and compliance
- Process improvement, controls and systems optimisation
- Support leadership with clear, actionable financial insight
- Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified‑by‑experience with strong SME track record
- Confident owning the finance function end‑to‑end
- Practical, organised and able to improve processes without over complicating them
- Strong Excel and finance system capability; comfortable with change
Package:
Up to £80,000 base + benefits

Kent
