Interim Finance Manager

Interim Finance Manager | Bristol | Day rate / Inside IR35

We’re looking for an experienced and technically strong Interim Finance Manager to join a dynamic, fast-paced business on a short-term basis. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running and support both core finance and commercial teams through a busy period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly close and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Manage and review WIP (Work-in-Progress) and deferred revenue schedules
• Partner closely with the sales and commercial teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and alignment of financials with pipeline activity
• Update and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring strong controls and audit readiness
• Support forecasting and budgeting processes with high-quality financial insight
• Provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

About You:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven experience in a similar interim finance manager or senior finance role
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, especially in WIP and revenue recognition
• Confident business partner with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
