Turner & Townsend are seeking a Finance Analyst to support their delivery of works in Defence. The role sits within a fast‑moving vibrant team that provides support to a range of projects and joint ventures. The individual will be a self‑starter who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders and brings financial process delivery experience and Excel capability.

• Carry out all financial administration related to Turner & Townsend Defence projects, in liaison with the Finance Manager
• Manage and analyse a high volume of sales invoices with acute attention to detail
• Support with Project set‑up on D365
• Chase aged debts to ensure timely cash collection and reconciliation for all cash receipts
• Check, reconcile and receive supplier invoices
• Gather data from various sources, including databases and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and proper formatting
• Present financial data to stakeholders clearly and concisely using visualisations, dashboards and reports
• Coordinate collation of timesheets, project deliverables and client approvals to support invoicing
• Prepare purchase orders and sub‑contract agreements
• Deal first‑hand with financial/project queries from the client and suppliers
• Costing task orders and populating cost models
• Support forecasting, budgeting, WIP and reporting
• Support the Finance Manager with ad‑hoc tasks

This role reports to the Finance Manager and offers flexible working.

• Sales invoices are produced to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and within deadlines
• Month‑end data is analysed in detail and areas of potential risk are highlighted
• Key information and data are accurately maintained
• Promote and encourage positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, clients and suppliers

• Intermediate/Advanced Excel and Word skills
• CIMA/ACCA/AAT or previous experience within an equivalent finance role
• Previous experience within a business partnering role would be desirable
