Job Description

• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Support the Management Accounts Manager with month-end delivery
• Produce accurate management accounts to strict deadlines
• Analyse and explain variances against budgets and forecasts
• Present monthly financial insights to senior management
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register
• Support budgeting, VAT returns, and ONS submissions
• Identify risks, opportunities, and potential cost savings
• Mentor team members and support their development
• Maintain and improve finance systems and controls
• Provide P&L support to non-finance stakeholders
• Assist with ad hoc finance projects as required

The Successful Applicant

• Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets
• Confident communicator with strong written skills
• Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement
• Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards
• Comfortable working with financial systems (e.g. Sun, Coupa, SIS)
