Management Accountant

Citadel Source is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our well-established client based in East Bristol.

About you

You will be a hands-on and driven individual, with a strong work ethic and someone who takes pride in achieving their own goals and team goals. You will be committed and enthusiastic and be an excellent communicator who is able to work effectively as part of a team. You will be qualified or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA, with strong Excel skills. You will be collaborative and support the wider business on ongoing improvement projects.

You will have previous experience in a similar role, particularly with month-end accounting and a strong understanding of core accounting principles

The role

The Management Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller, and together they will play a key role in making sure accurate and timely information is shared with stakeholders. They will also support the delivery of the monthly reporting requirements.

As a Management Accountant, your role will include, but not be limited to:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Analyse variances against budgets and forecasts
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Partner with departments to support financial decisions
• Ensure accuracy, controls, and compliance in financial reporting
• Support the wider finance team during month-end procedures
• Contribute to process improvements and financial accuracy

What the client has to offer

• A salary level of £40,000 to £45,000
• Currently Fully Office Based
• Parking on site
