Responsibilities
  • Lead statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
  • Manage on-site audit teams, ensuring compliance with audit standards and procedures
  • Support, mentor, and supervise junior team members to aid in their professional development
  • Prepare audit documentation and reports for Manager and Partner review
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, offering commercially sound and practical solutions
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients through clear communication and expert guidance
  • Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the audit function
  • Undertake occasional statutory accounts preparation where required
Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent international qualification)
  • Proven experience in statutory audit within a public practice environment
  • Prior exposure to professional practices or legal sector clients is advantageous
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of audit and accounting software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach when working with clients and colleagues
