By encompassing a wide range of disciplines across a breadth of areas such as Customer Experience & Digital, Strategy, Forensic, Risk & Regulatory, People and Talent, and Operational & Financial Transformation, through to Cyber and Technology.
- Lead delivery role, managing small teams across projects such as IFRS 17 impact assessments and implementations, finance transformations, company mergers and acquisitions, providing advice on capital models or supporting Audit colleagues.
- Lead project teams in the delivery of client engagements and provide technical input to projects and draft reports and presentations.
- Current projects include IFRS 17 impact assessments and IFRS
17 implementation projects; provision of actuarial expertise on finance transformation projects. - Provide assistance to companies undertaking mergers and acquisitions.
- Help companies with their capital models.
- Provide actuarial expertise to support Audit colleagues.
- Be a fully Qualified Actuary, with experience of working in a Life Actuarial function or life consultancy.
- Capability to manage concurrent engagements and contribute to shaping and implementing tailored solutions.
- Strong technical and communication skills (written and oral) and ability to engage with clients and senior personnel from day one.
- Strong project and people management skills; ability to structure task allocations around critical goals.
- Strong coaching skills to develop junior team members.
- Previous experience in a consultancy preferred, but qualified actuaries from industry with relevant client-facing abilities may be considered, including assisting with proposals and development of sales materials.
