This is a key role acting as a link between Finance and our legal teams, helping to ensure a seamless, ‘right first time' billing experience for our clients. You'll play an important part in supporting cash collection, maintaining accurate billing data and delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.

You will be part of a supportive, collaborative team where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and build strong relationships across the firm.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (including VAT, SRA Accounts Rules and AML requirements)
  • Managing WIP, disbursement write-offs, transfers and adjustments
  • Maintaining charge rates and billing data within our practice management system
  • Supporting e-billing activity across a range of client portals
  • Managing queries via team mailboxes and liaising with stakeholders across the firm
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and supporting client interactions where needed
  • Escalating aged debt and supporting cash collection activity
  • Contributing to process improvements and supporting system and process changes
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce consistently high-quality work
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, ‘can do' approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks

Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across different teams
  • Confidence working with systems, including Excel and other finance tools
It would also be beneficial if you have:
  • Previous billing or revenue experience, ideally within a professional services or legal environment
  • Experience working with Aderant or an e-billing platform
Why join us
