Salary: 50,000 to 65,000 (depending on experience)
A well established professional services firm is seeking a Tax Senior with a minimum of 3 years' experience in personal tax to join its respected Private Wealth team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role preparing Partners' self assessment tax returns within a collaborative and long standing Tax & Trust Accounting team.
The Role You'll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of personal tax work, including:
Preparing Partners' self assessment tax returns
Arranging payment of tax liabilities and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with all relevant personal tax legislation
Providing ad hoc advice on personal tax queries throughout the year Supervising and supporting two Tax Apprentices Contributing to a supportive and collaborative team culture
Candidate Requirements This role is suited to an experienced tax professional with:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a personal tax environment
Strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel Experience preparing partners' self assessment tax returns(Desirable)
Experience with trusts, Inheritance Tax, and CCH tax software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and accuracyA proactive, organised and motivated approach
