Senior Business Partner Finance

Senior Finance Business Partner Robert Half is partnering with a well-established organisation based in Bristol, is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded finance professional to work closely with budget holders across the business, providing expert financial guidance and helping to protect the long-term financial health of the organisation.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, and investment decision-making, while developing and maintaining robust long-term cost models.

The Role Provide effective financial guidance to budget holders throughout the budgeting and forecasting cycle Support budget holders with accurate monitoring of monthly management accounts, identifying and explaining variances Support budget holders in valuing risks and assessing investment decisions, including input into business cases Develop and maintain accurate long-term cost models and contract clause calculations Prepare month-end journals to ensure the accuracy of monthly management accounts Maintain best-practice finance business partnering policies Build strong, collaborative relationships with budget holders, ensuring early involvement in financial risks and decisions Manage and coach a small team, supporting their development and performance Maintain business finance processes and controls that support accurate, timely decision-making and long-term cost management About You Part-qualified or fully qualified in a relevant professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA);

qualified candidates with post-qualification experience are especially encouraged to apply Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term cost modelling Working knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS
102) and IFRS as relevant to the role Confident building relationships with non-finance stakeholders and translating financial information for a wider audience Experience supporting or managing a small team is desirable A proactive, analytical approach with excellent attention to detail Strong IT and systems skills, with a willingness to develop digital capability further Long term contracts experience would be desirable What's on Offer Salary up to £62,000, depending on experience Based in Bristol The opportunity to join a collaborative, values-driven finance team with genuine scope for progression If this sounds like your next move, we'd love to hear from you.
