Finance Manager

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting for a business based on the outskirts of central Bristol who are looking for a Finance Manager to join initially on a basis for 6 weeks. This has potential to be extended or permanent

Outskirts of central Bristol Working hours & hybrid: 37.5 per week and office based

Start date:

1 September Duration: 6 weeks with potential of extension/possibility of permanent if you wish but not essential Money:
Up to £40,000 equivalent Role duties:
Payroll - collate information, input data correctly , manage deductions, overtime, expenses Monthly VAT returns, manage HMRC queries Sales ledger & credit control
- Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing and resolve issues Purchase ledger & supplier management
- Verify and process supplier invoices, manage weekly/monthly payment schedules Banking, payments & cash management
- Process and reconcile bank transactions, and manage petty cash General business & management support
- Maintain staff records and finance administration to assist the team Assist with monthly tasks - accruals, prepayments, P&L Skills/Experience needed:
Previous experience in a similar role Comfortable to work autonomously High attention to detail Computer literate Experience using Sage Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
