The Role Working closely with Engineering, Operations and Senior Finance leaders, you will lead the planning, forecasting and governance of capital expenditure across a significant UK asset base. You'll provide financial insight and challenge on major investment decisions, support long-term asset lifecycle planning, and ensure capital projects deliver maximum operational and commercial value.

Key Responsibilities Lead the annual capex budgeting and forecasting process Develop and maintain long-term asset lifecycle investment plans Partner with engineering and operational teams on investment decisions Build and review business cases for major capital projects Perform investment appraisals including NPV, IRR and payback analysis Monitor project performance and benefits realisation Prepare reporting and recommendations for senior leadership and board review Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, planning and reporting processes About You ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Strong Finance Business Partnering experience Experience managing capital expenditure budgets and forecasts Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills Confident presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders Background within engineering, manufacturing, energy, utilities, infrastructure or another capital-intensive environment would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional looking to play a key role in shaping strategic investment decisions within a growing and ambitious business.
