Corporate Tax Senior Manager

Corporate Tax Senior Manager £70,000 to £90,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent, full time Bristol A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Bristol is looking for a CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified Corporate Tax Senior Manager to lead the delivery of complex compliance and advisory work across a varied client portfolio. Bristol's commercial market continues to grow in scale and sophistication, and the firm's tax practice is well positioned within it.

The role carries real strategic influence, with a structured pathway to partnership and the client base to make that a near term prospect. Crowe Watson Recruitment handles senior appointments of this nature with discretion. What's the day to day of the role:
Leading corporate tax compliance and advisory delivery across a complex client portfolio Advising on corporation tax, group structures, M&A, reorganisations and strategic tax planning Overseeing the review of returns and computations prepared by managers and junior staff Driving business development through proposals, networking and growing the practice Building senior client relationships and acting as trusted adviser to key stakeholders Leading and developing the managers and junior members of the tax team Contributing to the strategic direction of the tax department alongside senior leadership

Required skills and qualifications:

CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong corporate tax background gained in practice At least seven years' experience within a UK Practice environment Track record at manager or senior manager level on complex corporate tax advisory work Deep technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation Confidence to engage at board and partner level, with proven experience developing teams Commercially driven, with a strategic approach to business development Benefits:
