- Completing governance processes, contract variations, approvals and reporting requirements in line with agreed procedures. Providing analytical, administrative and compliance support to the Investment Management team and wider stakeholders.
Are you someone who is highly organised, analytical and comfortable working with data, and ultimately always focuses on delivering excellent governance and value for money?
As our Investment Governance Officer, you'll:
- Support investment managers with performance monitoring, issue tracking and stakeholder engagement activities
- Prepare reports, dashboards, governance papers and investment management documentation.
- Manage investment information within MCA systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance.
- Assist with audits, information requests and governance reviews, ensuring records are maintained to a high standard. Identify risks, issues and data quality concerns, escalating matters where appropriate.
- Support the continuous improvement of investment management processes, templates and reporting arrangements. Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and the sharing of best practice
You'll be a motivated and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
We're particularly interested in people who:
- Have experience supporting investment, commercial, finance or governance activities within a complex organisation.
- Understand investment management principles and the investment lifecycle.
- Have experience producing reports, managing data and maintaining governance documentation.
- Are confident using Microsoft 365 and document management systems.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively. Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Bring a professional, customer-focused approach to everything they do.
The Investment Management Team plays a vital role in ensuring that investment programmes are effectively governed, monitored and delivered for the benefit of the West of England. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues, gain exposure to high-profile investment activity and help ensure public funding delivers meaningful outcomes.
