Finatal has partnered with a well-established, founder-owned hospitality business operating across the South of England. With ambitious growth plans and a strong presence in the sports and leisure sector, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the next phase of the business's expansion.
They are seeking a commercially minded, hands-on Finance Director who can balance strategic financial leadership with day-to-day oversight of the finance function. The successful candidate will be confident managing investor reporting and banking relationships, while driving financial performance and supporting the wider growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the finance function and develop a high-performing team.
- Oversee financial planning, reporting, forecasting, controls and compliance.
- Manage cash flow, working capital and financial risk.
- Partner with senior leadership on commercial strategy and business performance.
- Support investment decisions, acquisitions, fundraising and site expansion.
- Manage relationships with investors, lenders and key stakeholders.
- Deliver scalable financial systems, processes and improvements.
- Prepare board reporting and provide strategic financial insight.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5+ years' PQE.
- Proven senior finance leadership experience.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Experience supporting growth within a multi-site business.
- Confident managing stakeholders, investors and senior leadership.
- Strong financial controls, forecasting and analytical capabilities.
- Hands-on, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Hospitality, leisure or consumer sector experience advantageous.
