Bristol Register Office is pleased to offer an opportunity to join our prestigious team of casual assistant registration officers, supporting citizens of Bristol at key emotional times in their lives.
Responsibilities- Register and conduct marriage, civil partnership and citizenship ceremonies in Bristol’s most beautiful buildings, including the Old Council House on Corn Street, approved premises and places of worship.
- Perform a variety of administrative duties in accordance with statutory regulations.
- Deliver exceptional service to customers from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Work primarily on weekends and bank holidays, mainly during busy summer months; occasional work during standard office hours may also be offered.
- Five GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C/4, or relevant demonstrable experience.
- Full clean driving licence and access to a personal vehicle for business use (desirable).
- Subject to a Basic DBS check.
