Pharmacy Technician Position at NHS

Overview

As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring effective medicines usage through patient engagement and support. Your responsibilities will include conducting medicine administration checks, supporting medication reviews, and reconciling medications. Additionally, you’ll provide expertise in addressing public health and social care needs, manage shared care protocols, and support antimicrobial stewardship initiatives. Technical and administrative tasks will involve transcribing medications, answering drug-based queries, and implementing efficient ordering processes.

Collaborating with pharmacy professionals and the multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to integrating health and social care services. Moreover, you’ll support quality improvement measures and assist in policy development to meet regulatory requirements.
