Position Overview:The Field Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining and improving the quality of care provided by our team of care workers. This role involves conducting spot checks, providing on-the-job training, supporting care assessments, supervising care workers, and ensuring compliance with all organizational and regulatory standards. The Field Coordinator acts as a key link between care workers and care coordinators, ensuring that both staff performance and client care remain at the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular spot checks on care workers during client visits to ensure quality of care and adherence to Happy Care standards.
Provide on-the-job training and coaching to care workers to enhance their skills and confidence.
Support care coordinators in conducting client assessments, ensuring care plans are accurately implemented.
Conduct supervision sessions with care workers, addressing performance, concerns, and professional development.
Report any issues, concerns, or observations promptly to care coordinators or management.
Monitor and ensure that all staff working with vulnerable individuals complete their duties to a high standard and in compliance with regulations.
Step in to cover shifts as needed, ensuring continuity of care for clients.
Assist in identifying gaps in service delivery and recommend improvements to processes and staff training.
Maintain accurate records of spot checks, supervision sessions, training, and client interactions.
Promote a positive, professional, and safe working environment for all staff and clients.
Shifts:
- Two shift patterns:
- Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- 6 working days per week (Monday – Saturday) plus a Sunday morning shift.
- Monday–Saturday:
Shift rotation required to ensure variety; for example, morning, evening, morning, evening, etc. - Sunday shift is always a morning shift
