37.5 hours per week (with a sleep-in, it is 47.5 hours)

We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you’ll support individuals to build independence, improve wellbeing, and feel confident within their community.

About the role

As a Support Worker, you will manage a caseload of individuals, developing and reviewing personalised support plans that reflect individual goals and strengths. You will work collaboratively with service users, families, and external professionals to ensure risks are assessed, outcomes are monitored, and support remains effective and responsive. The role requires a flexible, creative approach to engagement, crisis prevention, and recovery-focused practice.

Key Responsibilities

You will support a small group of individuals in the community and/or supported living settings, helping them to:

* Achieve personal goals and increase independence

* Develop daily living skills

* Access education, employment, and local services

* Manage finances and personal budgets where appropriate

* Stay safe through proactive risk management

* Navigate challenging situations with calm and positive support

You’ll work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure support remains person-centred, consistent, and meaningful.

This role requires flexibility, creativity, and a positive, recovery-focused approach.

About You

* Minimum 12 months’ experience supporting individuals with mental health needs

* Experience working in residential or supported living settings

* Confident working independently in the community and supporting individuals with complex needs

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* NVQ in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential

* Good IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records

* Full UK driving licence is desirable; access to a moped or other reliable form of short-distance transport would also be considered
