Investment in the infrastructure with a replacement catheter lab commissioned in April 2023 and plans to expand into a second lab/hybrid lab to carry out device procedures. We have a robust replacement programme for our echo machines with new GE machines and a new reporting system.
We are looking for cardiac physiologists with experience and knowledge within echocardiography.
A BSc Cardiac Physiology qualification or equivalent is essential. A suitable qualification in echocardiography (BSE or equivalent) is essential.
Members of the cardiac physiology team will be expected to rotate around areas of cardiology, if they hold relevant experience, such as the catheter labs , exercise tolerance testing, tilt tests, tape analysis, device follow up, remote monitoring follow up and device implant to keep up existing skills so experience in those areas would be an advantage.
