Reportingtothe Divisional Operations Director ,thepostholderwillbeakeymemberofthe NMSKSenior Management Teamat North Bristol NHSTrust,withadottedreportinglineto the Associate Divisional Director Surgery UHBW. They will be accountable for maximising elective activity in Trauma and Orthopaedics (T&O), Rheumatology and Pain across the Bristol Hospital Group and for facilitating the delivery of performance targets across three sites.

Additionally,thepostholderwillleadthe

Bristol Surgical Centre ,ensuringdeliveryofdefined benefits within the Business Case and sustaining the GIRFT Surgical Hub accreditation process. This will involve strategic system-wide leadership, influencing and collaboration with regional and national commissioners and stakeholders.

• Provide system-wideleadershipacross
  
  BNSSGT&Oservicessupportingclinical and non-clinical teams.
• Incollaborationwithothermembersofthedivisionalseniormanagementteam, be responsible forthe development and deliveryofthe businessplansfor
  
  T&O services across the Bristol Hospital Group.
• Provide operational oversight, working closely with the General Managers, of the developing Rheumatology and Pain Group Clinical Services.
• Deliverbenefitsrealisation of the T&O, Rheumatology & Pain Group Clinical Servicewithoversightofclinical  service integrations across acute, Sirona and primary care.
• Manage departmental budgetstoensureefficientandeffectiveuseofresources and achievement of financial targets.
• Direct line management of Assistant General Managers in T&O across the hospital group.
