JobOverview Clinical Coordinator & Cluster Development Lead, Plastics and Breast Cluster - 12-month development secondment opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Scrub Practitioner who is confident in their education, staff well being and workforce development knowledge and skills to join the Plastics & Breast Cluster. Extensive experience as a B6 in both clinical and education roles is essential and recruitment & retention, education and well being experience is desirable.
The Vacancy Will Be Split As- 75% Clinical Coordinator
- 25% Cluster Development Lead
- As the Clinical Coordinator, you will be working with existing Clinical Coordinators and the Theatres & Medirooms Matron, providing professional focus, effective clinical leadership and accountability for the Plastics & Breast Cluster. Responsible for ensuring that they and their team uphold the values of the Trust and of the profession, including effective management of clinical activity.
- As Cluster Development Lead, you will ensure that correct staffing and skill mix ratio is established and maintained through recruitment and retention activity. Undertake regular training needs analysis and facilitating training opportunities to ensure competence and promote best practice. Develop a training matrix and provide live reports to the Clinical Matron for Theatres & Medirooms.
- Work alongside clinical colleagues developing the Cluster's knowledge and practice of preoperative care. Collaborate with existing Clinical Coordinators, Theatres & Medirooms Matron and Preoperative Development Team to embed a culture of safe, effective and high-quality care.

To respond to service needs, some flexibility in shift patterns will be required.
