Personal Assistant/Support Worker for 7 year old boy

Salary
: £11.44 per hour.

Required for a seven‑year‑old boy in Keynsham. The role provides community access and respite for his family.

Work hours
:
Up to 10 hours per week during term time and 12 hours during school holidays. Flexible days and times to be discussed. Every other Saturday: 10 am‑4 pm and two 2‑hour evenings.

Key responsibilities
:

• Plan and accompany social and leisure activities, including visits to parks, climbing sessions, swimming and the library.
• Support the child to remain independent and manage emotions.
• Provide companionship and encouragement to engage in community activities.

Ideal candidate qualifications
:

• Mature, calm, firm, patient, with a good sense of humour and plenty of energy.
• Experience with ASD/ADHD and behavioural challenges.
• Current first aid certificate (or willingness to receive training).
• Full, clean UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Enhanced DBS check required; references will be required.
