Live in carer- a driver

We are a forward thinking organisation focussing on providing community services to adult in the Southwest
- Bristol, BANES, North Somerset . We are looking for a live carer

Working as a live in carer can see you supporting your client with a range of different tasks throughout the day, both within their home and outside of it. The job role involves providing:

• Personal care – assisting with bathing, dressing, and when necessary, continence support- changing pads
• Helping with mobility – some customers need assistance getting around the home
• Overseeing medication – administration medication, ordering medication , liaising with health professionals all according to the customer’s care plan
• Household chores – help around the home, light work , laundry and liaising with gardeners and home cleaners
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Running errands – assisting with tasks such as shopping or picking up prescriptions
• Other medical support – e.g. catheter care , stoma care and other health care as per care plans – extra training is provided for more complex support needs
• Companionship – sharing conversation and spending time together, accessing community clubs, escorting the client on holidays, church etc.
