Overview
Our service provides a specialist role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of foot problems for adult and paediatric patients. The service manages patients with complex medical conditions which puts the lower limb at "high risk" of complications e.g. diabetes. We also provide acute wound care management. You will work closely with other members of your team to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Responsibilities- Supporting the patient pathway and working closely with other members of the administration and clinical teams to optimise patient experience and service delivery.
- Supporting effective and efficient delivery of the administration processes, including appointment booking, referral registration, caseload management, post-clinic actions, lone working processes, and onward referral to other providers.
- Managing the use of various systems, including e‑referral and our electronic notes system (EMIS).
- Liaising with colleagues, patients and external contacts as required regarding complex messages and patient queries, including sensitive information.
- Adapting your style of communication and using problem solving skills as appropriate.
- Supporting the development of admin rotas, supporting new and existing colleagues, and supporting audits and data quality.
To excel in this role, you should be a great communicator, be able to work to deadlines and have amazing organisation skills.
