Aftercare Recovery Worker
to join ourBi Borough Team.
Where: The Bi Borough Alcohol Service across sites located in Kensington and chelsea and Westminster

About the Role
- Support the service user to connect with activities, support to sustain recovery and reach their goals set out in their aftercare plan e.g. training,employment support.
- Facilitate post-treatment groups across the Bi Borough in community settings,outside of CGL hubs, to support individuals in progressing their recovery journey independently of services.
- Provide service users with information on options available them within the service and in their communities.
- Collaborate with the Partnership Lead toengage partner agencies that service users can access for support following treatment.
- Build positive relationships with aftercare providers to ensure recovery supportis available to support post-Rehab early abstinence i.e., Build on Belief (BOB),, Fellowship Groups, Aspire2be, SMART
- Work collaboratively with the Service User Inclusion Worker to understand post-treatment needs, ensuring the voices and preferences of service users areheard and reflected.
- Working with Recovery Coordinators, Peer Mentors/Volunteers to provide Recovery Check-Ins
- Excellent knowledge of inpatient detox and residential services
- Experience of working within multidisciplinary teamsand with fostering positive relationships with partner agencies and external providers
- Experience of working with people at all stages oftheir treatment journey and an in-depth knowledge of the importance that groupwork and after caresupport offers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills andthe ability to provide effective advocacy when needed

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Salary Range (pro rata if part time)CGL points 23 to 28 (£28,557.79 - £32,802.41)
