BSL speaker Personal Assistant Required in Bristol, BS16, 4hrs pw @ £13.20 - BRISTOL - BS16

Bristol, BS16 area Rate of Pay: £13.20 per hour (PAYE)

An opportunity has arisen for a caring, reliable, and proactive Personal Assistant to support an adult living with their mother. The role focuses on providing support with community access and helping the individual maintain an active and fulfilling social life.

The successful applicant will support the client to:

• Access the local community and participate in social activities.
• Use public transport and explore new places.
• Visit places of interest, including historical sites and old buildings.
• Plan enjoyable outings and identify new activities and experiences.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and social engagement.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Proactive and enthusiastic, with the ability to suggest and organise activities.
• Friendly, dependable, and able to build a positive working relationship.
• A driver with a full UK driving licence.
• Available during late mornings and afternoons on weekdays, with some flexibility around working days and times.
• A non-smoker, or willing to work within a non-smoking environment.

• British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 or 3.
• Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Full UK driving licence.

• The client has one cat in the home.
• No personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, or shopping support is required.
• The role is centred on community access, companionship, and planning meaningful activities.
