We are recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join our expansion into Bristol.

This is a hands-on, patient-focused role. You will prescribe and review cannabis-based medicines for patients with complex clinical needs, delivering safe, effective and personalised treatment across a wide range of conditions.

Collaboration is central to how we work. You will be part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, contributing to outstanding patient outcomes, clinical pathway development, education initiatives and service improvements. This is a hybrid role with three days on site and two days remotely with 1 weekend shift per month (Saturday or Sunday). Days in lieu are provided for all weekend working.

• Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
• Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs
• Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.
• Support the dispensary team by handling complex clinical queries.
• Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.
• Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.

• GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification
• At least 2 years prescribing experience
• Experience working in a clinical setting
• Knowledge of CBPM is desired not essential or willingness to undergo specialised training
• Clear and confident communicator across clinical and non-clinical settings
• Highly effective at managing time and prioritising competing demands
• Proactive and resourceful when identifying and resolving problems
• Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex workflows
