IBM i Service Desk Technical Consultant

Are you an experienced IBM Power i (IBM i/AS400) Technical Consultant looking for your next challenge?

Join our expert Service Desk team and support enterprise customers across finance, manufacturing and retail.

You’ll provide proactive monitoring, technical consultancy and 1st/2nd line support, ensuring business-critical IBM i environments remain secure, resilient and performing at their best.

What your day to day looks like:

• Deliver remote technical support for IBM i managed services customers
• Manage incidents through to resolution
• Support backups, HA, DR, patching and upgrades
• Proactively monitor and optimise customer environments
• Work closely with customers and internal technical teams to deliver exceptional service

What we need from you:

• 4+ years’ experience in a senior Service Desk or Operations role
• Strong IBM Power i / IBM i administration skills
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure, managed services and ticketing systems
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting and customer service skills
