We have full time and part time vacancies for experienced paediatric nurses (or adult nurses with paediatric experience) that have completed NHS preceptorship to join our team in the Children’s Emergency Department at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. We are the Paediatric Major Trauma Centre for the southwest of England and provide care to over 45,000 sick and injured children from across the region each year.

Education:
You will have the opportunity to undertake a bespoke package of learning adapted to your experience. With support from our clinical skills facilitators, your development will include specialist education on major trauma, major incidents, minor illness and injuries and mental health, as well as learning through immersive, multi-disciplinary simulation.
Research:
We are a national leader in children’s emergency research and have strong links with the department-based research team to keep our care up to date and innovative.
Wellbeing:
We are dedicated to the support and wellbeing of staff, with departmental wellbeing weeks, team ‘checkins’and access to a range of initiatives and activities, including support services.
