Interventional Radiographer

Evolve Staffing Ltd. is actively recruiting an experienced Band 6 Interventional Radiographer to join a dynamic NHS diagnostic imaging department within a major hospital based in Bristol. This specialist position is ideal for a dedicated Diagnostic Radiographer seeking to utilize advanced clinical skills in vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures, cardiac catheterisation labs, and fluoroscopy suites.

Core Responsibilities & Clinical Duties:

* Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and therapeutic guidance across interventional radiology (IR) suites, cardiac catheter labs, and hybrid operating theatres.

* Perform complex vascular imaging, angiography, embolisation procedures, and image-guided diagnostic interventions alongside Consultant Radiologists.

* Maintain rigorous radiation protection protocols in full compliance with IR(ME)
R 2017 regulations and local hospital safety guidelines.

* Provide clinical mentorship to junior radiographers, student radiographers, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members.

Essential Requirements:

* Full HCPC Registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.

* BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent recognized post-graduate qualification.

* Demonstrable NHS experience operating within specialized Interventional Radiology environments.

* Proven expertise in radiation safety, fluoroscopy, and sterile interventional techniques.
