Position: People & Talent Manager

About Eden

Buying or selling a home is one of life’s biggest milestones - yet conveyancing can still feel complicated, slow and unclear. Eden is changing that. We’re building a digital-first experience powered by exceptional people, designed to make everything simple, clear and fast. We're at an exciting stage in our journey. Today we're a team of around 30 people. Over the next two years we expect to double in size as we continue to scale our technology, operations and customer experience functions.

To support that growth, we're looking for a commercially-minded People & Talent Manager to own and evolve our people agenda.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact standalone role at a pivotal stage in Eden's growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead all aspects of people, talent and culture across the business. You'll be responsible for attracting, developing and retaining exceptional people while building the structures, processes and ways of working that will support Eden as we scale.

This is not a role for someone who wants to specialise in one area of HR. Nor is it a role for someone who relies on a large HR team to deliver. We're looking for someone who enjoys operating independently, taking ownership and driving outcomes.

You'll need to be equally comfortable discussing organisational priorities with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team as you are personally delivering recruitment campaigns, supporting with people issues, improving systems and building scalable processes.

The successful candidate will combine strong HR fundamentals with excellent recruitment capability, commercial judgement and a builder operator mindset. You'll enjoy creating structure where needed, solving problems pragmatically and helping a growing business navigate the opportunities and challenges that come with scaling. This role offers significant visibility, influence and autonomy, alongside the opportunity to grow with the business as Eden continues its ambitious expansion.

What Success Looks Like

Over the next 24 months you'll:

  • Help scale the business from approximately 30 to 60+ employees
  • Build a people function that supports growth without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Strengthen Eden's ability to attract and hire exceptional talent
  • Establish robust people processes and systems that scale with the business
  • Develop leadership capability across the management team
  • Create a high-performance culture aligned to Eden's ambitions
  • Become a trusted advisor to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team
Why Join Eden?
  • Direct partnership with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team
  • Significant autonomy, ownership and influence
  • Opportunity to shape the people function and culture of a growing business
  • Broad role spanning talent, people, culture and organisational development
  • Fast-paced, ambitious and collaborative environment
  • Opportunity to make a visible impact on business performance and growth
  • Genuine scope to grow with the organisation as Eden continues to scale

  • Act as Eden's trusted people lead, supporting leaders and managers across the full employee lifecycle
  • Maintain and develop people policies, processes and frameworks that are fit for a scaling business
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice
