The role You'll take ownership of a busy engineering desk supplying skilled trades and operatives including welders, fabricators, mechanical assemblers, machine operators and similar into manufacturing and engineering businesses across West Yorkshire.

This is a full 360 role for someone who knows the sector inside out:
Managing and developing an existing portfolio of engineering and manufacturing clients. Winning new business across a market you already understand. Sourcing, vetting and placing skilled candidates, you'll know a good coded welder when you see one, and your clients will trust your judgement because of it. Delivering the kind of consistent, knowledgeable service that turns one-off vacancies into long-term accounts.

Who this suits This is not a trainee or step-up role. The client wants someone who can demonstrate:
Proven engineering recruitment experience, with real, evidenced achievements recruiting within welding/fabrication, mechanical assembly, machine operations or closely related disciplines. A track record of billings you're happy to talk through, the salary range exists because they'll pay properly for proven performance. Genuine technical credibility where you can hold a conversation about the difference between MIG and TIG, understand what a client means by "time-served," and qualify candidates properly.

The ability to run a busy 360 desk independently, so managing your own time across sales, service and delivery is key.
