Payroll Administrator

This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who wants to utilise their skills within an organisation that makes a genuine impact in local communities and supports meaningful causes.Your new roleReporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while delivering excellent service to colleagues across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing monthly payroll for employees across multiple departments
• Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data
• Administering starters, leavers and contractual changes
• Processing statutory payments including SSP, SMP and SPP
• Managing pension contributions and auto-enrolment requirements
• Assisting with payroll reconciliations and month-end reporting
• Responding to payroll queries from employees and managers
• Supporting HMRC submissions and ensuring compliance with legislation
• Maintaining confidentiality and data accuracy at all times
• Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll function
