Senior Business Analyst

On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst Inside IR35 for a 3 months contract based Hybrid in 2 days a week minimum In Bristol

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.

• Set up and configure JIRA projects, workflows, boards, and dashboards to meet the programme's requirements management needs
• Ensure JIRA is tailored to support the traceability of requirements from inception to delivery
• Work closely with the programme team to define and document requirements management processes within JIRA
• Ensure all requirements are accurately captured, categorised, and linked to relevant tasks, deliverables, and milestones
• Act as the primary point of contact for JIRA-related 'requirements' queries and troubleshooting

• Proven experience in administering and configuring JIRA for project and requirements management.
• Strong understanding of requirements management and traceability processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support team members.
• Proficiency in generating reports and dashboards within JIRA.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
