Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Bristol In House/Hybrid (must be within commutable distance of Bristol)

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Dev Ops Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will play a key role in improving system reliability, scalability, and security while mentoring team members and collaborating closely with development teams.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
• Lead the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive best practices in infrastructure as code, automation, and monitoring.
• Work closely with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
• Mentor mid-level and junior Dev Ops engineers and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security, responding to incidents as needed.

• 5+ years experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Pulumi).
• Solid experience with CI/CD tools (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and security best practices.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills and experience guiding or mentoring others.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Familiarity with SRE practices, SLAs, and incident management.
• Experience supporting microservices or event-driven architectures.
