Description

AXA - Global Healthcare is seeking an experienced Test Manager to join our team. You’ll collaborate closely with Engineering leadership to develop and lead comprehensive testing strategies across diverse teams and technologies. Your expertise will drive testing initiatives for a range of applications, including Salesforce, thick and thin client applications, and mobile platforms. As part of our forward-thinking approach, you’ll also oversee testing automation, remote testing across multiple devices and locations, and the scaling of testing environments to enhance effectiveness and ensure the highest standards of quality.

AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies, including test automation, mobile testing, and remote application testing.
  • Own and continuously improve the release management process, ensuring deployment workflows are captured and executed through tools like Azure Dev Ops.
  • Support the testing team in creating and maintaining regression packs to maximize test coverage and facilitate automation efforts.
  • Manage relationships with third‑party testing providers, ensuring timely procurement and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Develop and update Testing Plans within Engineering Low Level Design documentation to clearly define testing scenarios and expected results for all stakeholders.
  • Assist the testing team in resolving issues encountered during testing phases to ensure smooth progress.
  • Promote an Agile way of working within the testing team, ensuring tasks are accurately estimated, prioritized, and tracked within Azure Dev Ops for effective sprint planning.
  • Line manage testers, ensuring capability to conduct testing across thick, thin client, and mobile applications.

What you’ll bring:
  • Experience creating and reviewing regression test packs, identifying gaps in testing scenarios.
  • Knowledge of designing and implementing release management processes using tools like Azure Dev Ops or Tricentris.
  • Hands‑on experience testing APIs, preferably using Postman or similar platforms.
  • Ability to create automation scripts that simulate human actions, using tools like Python, Selenium, or Robot Framework.
  • Skilled at working with diverse stakeholders including business, architecture, and technical teams.
  • Capable of defining and documenting release and testing strategies for projects and applications.
  • Experience with code quality tools like Check Marx or Sonar Qube is a plus is preferred.
  • Experience testing mobile apps on iOS and Android using frameworks like XCode or simulators is preferred.
  • Willing to support the testing team in resolving critical issues and ensuring smooth testing processes.
