ServiceNow Business Analyst; SC cleared and Outside IR35

Job Description

The Service Now Business Analyst acts as a key link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring the Service Now platform is aligned to business needs and delivers measurable value. This role is responsible for eliciting, analysing, and documenting requirements, supporting solution design, and enabling effective delivery of Service Now enhancements and implementations.

Working closely with product owners, developers, architects, and process owners, the Service Now Business Analyst ensures requirements are clearly defined, prioritised, and translated into scalable, user‑centred Service Now solutions across ITSM and related modules.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on the Service Now platform
• Strong understanding of Service Now capabilities, data model, and workflows
• Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business and technical requirements
• Ability to translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Experience working across Service Now modules (e.g. ITSM, CMDB, Request Management, Incident, Change, Problem)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Experience supporting Agile or hybrid delivery models (Scrum, Kanban)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, testers, and architects
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
• Experience with process mapping and service management best practices (e.g. ITIL)
