A leading consultancy in the Bristol area requires a Solutions Architect to strengthen its technical growing team. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of technical excellence and commercial success, shaping how projects are won and delivered.

Duties are as follows:

• Working closely with sales & delivery teams to qualify opportunities and shape pursuit strategies, collaborating with subject matter experts across the business to assemble winning approaches to delivery
• Leading discovery workshops and design sprints with prospective clients to understand their challenges and opportunities
• Leading solution design and creating approaches to delivery that demonstrate technical credibility and delivery confidence
• Capturing client needs through pre‑sales engagement and translate into compelling technical solutions that align with their strategic objectives and deliver value
• Building trusted relationships with clients as a technical advisor during pre‑sales phases
• Producing proposals for presentation and articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, from technical teams to C‑suite executives
• Leading the technical response for bids and tenders, crafting winning narratives that showcase capabilities and align with evaluation criteria and client requirements
• Developing case studies and capability statements that position propositions effectively
• Working with delivery teams to design GTM delivery strategies and approaches for complex technology projects
• Contributing to the evolution of service propositions
• Leveraging AI models to accelerate and support solution design and prototyping
• Staying ahead of emerging technologies and methodologies, particularly AI‑driven approaches to delivery

Suitable candidates will have the folloiwng:

• Demonstrable experience of working in a highly visible customer facing role, translating business requirements into end‑to‑end technical solutions for complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Broad understanding across cloud platforms, enterprise architectures, integration approaches, modern software delivery and legacy migration projects.
• Proven track record involved in the delivery of technology projects in UK public sector – ideally with a good understanding of government digital standards
• Experience working within agile delivery frameworks and practices coupled with a working knowledge of user‑centred design principles and how they integrate with technical delivery.
• Strong track record of writing winning technical bids/responses for competitive procurements
• Skilled at curating and running design sprints, discovery / requirements workshops and collaborative sessions with clients and 3rd parties
• Proven ability to work effectively across commercial, technical and delivery teams to represent all interests while meeting customer requirements.
